No clues to protect Telugu Language and Culture-World Telugu Conference 2012-

The World Telugu Conference - WTC is a conference organized in Tirupati - the Temple town for continuance of Telugu language in the world. Literary achievers and Scholars across the globe attended to share their viewpoint and notions about Telugu language and its present state. The first of its kind was held in 1975 in Hyderabad under the instrumentation of   the then Minister of Education, Mandali Venkata Krishna Rao.
This is the fourth conference organized. Nevertheless, this conference viewed by many native Telugu speakers as gala get-together party among native and NRIs. Telugu literary figures and cultural organisations from Telangana in Andhra Pradesh boycotted the fourth World Telugu Conference, which got underway at Tirupati on Thursday. Poets, writers, artists, academicians and other noted personalities from the Telangana region stayed away from the three-day event, terming it as an attempt to suppress the movement for a separate Telangana state.

Member of state legislative council Chukka Ramaiah Ramaiah IITarian alleged that the conference was being held only for the leaders from Seemandhra (Rayalaseema and Andhra regions). "Why these celebrations when about a thousand people have died for Telangana state,?”
The State Government has allotted Rs 25 crore for conducting the conference.  (University Scholars were of the opinion that it is Rs 50 crore and Universities in the state and Telugu Departments are not involved as part for organizing.
The State Government is not considering to allot Rs 5 crores for strengthening Universities infrastructures and facilities for Research Scholars and aspirants is the opinion of Telugu literary achievers, revolutionary thinkers and eminent poets of the state.  Many cultural organizations in Telangana region boycotted WTC and called it as a “Matrimonial Bureau Mela” for NRIs . The delegates from the United StatesUnited KingdomRussiaIndonesia and other countries participated in the prestigious conference aimed at promotion of Telugu language and culture. One could find the word “Samrakshichandi Telugu Bhashani and Sanskruthini” (Save or protect Telugu Language and Culture) not less 200 times with no clues on how to do so????
