Life without Whatsapp? Whatsapp?? Whatsapp??? Whatsapp????

Are you Whatsappocolic????

I was literally away from my blogpost. It really took along time to  get back to my blog post. Seriously, I am totally blank, can't think or form few sentences. Wonder why?
I am  a victim of  Whatsappocolic.

WhatsApp Messenger is a cross-platform mobile messaging app which allows you to exchange messages without having to pay for SMS. Whatsapp Messenger is available for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Phone and Nokia these phones can all message each other.
Ever since phone apps like Whatsapp, Viber, and Facebook have become part and parcel of our life, We are now becoming slaves to them is the observation. It is an addiction, we are becoming “whatsappocolic” that has bordered humans in its ferocious web. And the more you invest in it, the more and more we are losing wisdom.

Right from posting “Good morning” images “Tea-time” images, “Good night” images in a group which is circulated to all the members within the group. Then in between, it is chat time for one or two group members who find ample time to spare and have nothing to do productive. More worst are the person like who is a member of many groups but not active enough. Constantly disturbed by the message ‘beeps’ every second.

Yes, agreed that it is bridging the gap and helps individuals get connected with lost ones. But, it is a mere connectivity not rebuilding or strengthening a broken relationship.

Most of the time, it is repeated post which were earlier circulated through SMS-Text messengers and Face Book-FB posts. Maybe slowly, many are getting closer few groups or form a new group as “group admin”, who can add or delete members!!!! Well, within the family, one can get connected only through Whatsapp! An individual is added into a number of wanted or unwanted groups. Sometimes within the group there are so many members who one can hardly remember or might have any connectivity. The worst is when sometimes in a group with a number of people whom the individual does not even know. And then there are the unbearable notifications from the group messages which consume space on the phone. One simple forwarded message gets multiplied and re posted and shared. One receives over 20 - 30 replies and the constant beeping literally can drive you nuts.

How ridiculous is this lifestyle that we are living. When I think of Children, it is really too bad. Today’s children are so hooked to latest phones, latest apps and smart phones and the latest version. Are we blocking their imagination is what I question myself.

We are now getting used to in search of “gadget Support” than real human support for restoring, building relationship. Are we scared to face the fact or reality????

I am also part of this Whatsappocolic addiction. I even deleted the apps and suddenly, I was questioned by my friends that I am not moving along with the time and technology. Then, I was asked to re install as to be at least give all my friends and well wishers that I am still living on this e-planet!!!
